Gallifrey by Amras-Arfeiniel Gallifrey by Amras-Arfeiniel
Dedicated to my lovely 'bad Wolf'. ;)

"They used to call it the Shining World of the Seven Systems. And on the continent of Wild Endeavour, in the mountains of Solace and Solitude, there stood the Citadel of the Time Lords. The oldest and most mighty race in the universe. Looking down on the galaxies below, sworn never to interfere, only to watch."

For the right mood:

:D

I worked a long time on this and I'm really happy with it.
I used Cinema4d (The model of the Citadel), Vue and Photoshop.

The original concept is from a production sketch for the Doctor Who series (sketch made by Peter McKinstry).

I was able to watch the special yesterday in cinema. 3D!!!! Weeeee!^^
I have watched it before but wasn't able to do it in cinema. But the cinema gave another Cinema Presentation because of the high demand. Lucky me. :D

To quote my favourite Doctor, was it not FANTASTIC?! :D I SCREAMED when it I watched it. I never did like Moffat's era of writing, but I consider making Gallifrey frozen in time instead of destroyed utter genius; one of the only things he's done right, actually. Argh, it was BRILLIANT. I was in tears at the end of it. :)

So your favourite is 9?^^
Mine is Ten!^^

I agree, Moffat never make me feel with the characters like Russel T did. I miss that.^^

We will see what comes next. :)

I hope you did watch the BBC drama about the first Doctor too. And Adventure in Space and Time. If not, you should watch it! And have a handkerchief somewhere near while you are watching it. :D

Yep; something about the rugged goofiness is just fantastic :3 I absolutely ADORE Ten, though, he's adorable

Yeah, I miss Davies. His writing was brilliant, absolutely brilliant; and you can really sense how much he understood the Rose-Doctor dynamic. Moffat just doesn't get it.

I did! :D Watched them both in honour of the fiftieth! Weren't they both BRILLIANT?!
